Thanks UNITED!!!

Well it's been awhile since I have last updated this blog. Let me catch you up on our life right now :) First off, Jordan did not get into the business program he wanted to. So instead of trying to retake classes and try to get the average GPA for that program which is so high (3.6 is the average)He is just going to get his major in communications and then a minor in business. We both feel good about this and he will get done a little faster. Which he is really excited about. :) I am too! Then after that he will decide if he wants to go get his MBA. So Jordan will start school tomorrow. Some of you might be thinking... wait.. shouldn't he be in school already.. Well the anwser is YES! But we just got back from our crazy,fun,adventure. So he missed the first week of school. Some of you already knew that Jordan and I went on a cruise to the Bahama's and then to Orlando to play after the cruise. Little did we know that UNITED SUCKS!!! (Thats United the Airline)
So our little adventure started on Monday Aug. 31st when we got to the airport and everybody was on the plane ready to go and over the intercome they told the passengers that the pilot called in sick and they had to call in a back up pilot last min. So we were schudule to leave at 6:00 AM but didn't leave till 7:00AM. So as we were in the air I keep looking back at Jordan stressing that we are not going to make our next connecting flight and of course Jordan is saying "We're fine!" lol so then I finally turned around and said "We're not going to make it our flight leaves in 10 mins" So we get off the plane and look to see when our next flight will leave and it said it has been delayed and it would not be coming in till 10:45 which puts us in Orlando at 3:50PM Which is to late to board the cruise ship. So we were getting upset because our plane was delayed TWICE. So we go and talk to the united customer service people and they were just crap. They treated us like crap and kept saying they could not do anything for us and that the plane was delayed from SLC because of FOG! Which is a lie because it even said in their computers that we were waiting for another pilot to come on board. Then they said that the plane that was suppose to be there in Denver was delayed because of mechanical problems and FOG! So pretty much they were just trying to tell us they were both delayed because of the weather eventhough in their computers it says the other issues. So we get tired of arguing with them so, we go sit down and try to plan out what we were going to do. We knew we were going to miss the cruise ship so we started planning to fly straight into the Bahama's. All of sudden that trip became more expensive. :) Anyways long story short. We get to Florida and we go talk to the United customer service there and try to see if they will fly us out to the Bahama's so they did and the people there were AWESOME! They booked us on the next flight to the Bahama's which happened to be at 8:00PM that same day. So we spent the first two days at a hotel in the BAhama's and then we caught up to the cruise ship that wed. So we finally made it! We only had two days left on the cruise ship, so it was kinda suckie but we made the best of it! To top it all off the best thing was Jordan and I made $500.00 in the cruise ship casino!!! :) Now that can pay for us to go on our next cruise flying with another airline :)

The joke Jordan and I had the whole time on our trip was whenever something bad happened or when we were paying for things such as food,transportation,hotel etc. We would say "Thanks UNITED!"

Cali Trip!!!

Well we just got back from Northern California. We went down there for a soccer tournament and to hang out with the fam. We had a blast. We drove down there with my sister and their family last Friday. Needless to say it was a long drive!!! :) On Sat. They started their soccer tournament and played three games. That night Jordan and I went to the Giants game. That was my first time being at the Giants stadium. We had a great time. Then Sunday morning we started to head back out to Santa Cruz for more soccer games. They won their first game so they were put in the finals. They played two more games and then crowned division winners!!! :) They did a great job!!! They were soo tired and sore! It was funny to watch them walk back to the cars. They did a great job and it was fun to watch! Go Fire Balls!!! Then Monday we took it easy and went to the Jelly Belly Factory with everyone. That's always fun. Then Tues we hung out some more with the fam and left that night to catch our plane. Some of us still have to work and go to school. :) Here are a few pics from this fun weekend! :)

These boys are goof's. They were throwing grapes from the front of the house into the pool so they could catch them in their months. This picture was when they were playing round two. :) They would have a race who could pick up the most grapes underwater. They are dork's!!!

One Year!!!

Well time flies by.. We just celebrated our 1st year anniversary! We can't believe it! So we spent the weekend 1st by seeing Transformers. It was alright, we liked the 1st one ALOT better. Then we spent the night at this nice hotel and played Guess who, ate starburst, went hot tubbing and then on Saturday we went over to my parents because Jordan had a surprise for me and as we went to find my surprise, it was not there... Oh don't worry it was a massage and Ashley threw it away. :) lol So Jordan bought it back in April and put it under Ashley's mattress (that's where we slept when we were living with my parents) and we called Ashley that day to ask where it was and she said she might have thrown it away. We were ticked!!! lol We had already paid for it so anyway we went to go see the Proposal instead and went to eat at Benihana's and just walked around the gateway. So it turned out to be a good anniversary. But I am still ticked I didn't get my massage. :(

The winner is....

Team Adams!!!! Well this year was an adventure. Team Oldson really won the times.. but if it weren't for Jordan's bike issues.. Team Adams would of KILLED them :) So they kind of did a wash. Both teams did a GREAT JOB!! It was so fun to watch. So here is the quick story of Jordan's little Adventure.. So when you come out of the water, you go to your station and get on your bike.. so Jordan did that and rode on his bike for a mile out and all of a sudden he got flat tires! So he had to flag down a van to help him get back to his station and try to fix the bike.. so twenty mins or so later they still could not fix the bike. So, thanks to Eric Hanson who brought his beach cruiser. Jordan went to go get it off the motor home and he rode that sweet beach cruiser, thankfully it had at least 8 gears so he was able to ride up the steep hills! haha Jordan gets the award for best sport. So yeah his time was 2 hours and 4 mins but that was with all his bike issues. So, Team Oldson won if you count up that score but if you take away 25 mins off his time Team Adams would of KILLED them :) lol So needless to say both teams did a great job and it was fun to watch!!!

ST. GEORGE here we come!!!

Well Tomorrow we will be on our way to St. George to find out if Team Adams or Team Oldson will win this competition. Whoever the losing team is has to buy Outback on Saturday while we are down there. :) I tell Jordan his team better win because we don't have extra money to be paying for somebody at Outback! :) So Good Luck Babe!!! Go Team Adams!!! We are very excited to just getaway for a little while and be with the fam! Oh and don't worry we will get some good IN N OUT while we are down there!!! :) Oh I can't wait! I'll keep you updated of which team won and I will post pictures when I get back! Peace Out!!!
